An introduction to a little known cut of beef that looks and tastes like fillet but costs half the price! In this class I will demonstrate three very different ways to cook and present this versatile cut of meat.
We kick off with a tasty appetiser from Singapore. Next we have two mouthwatering starters, both use the same cooking method but the end result couldn’t be more different. And lastly a classic main dish served with two accompanying sauces that work brilliantly with the beef and and guaranteed to be a real crowd pleaser.

BEEF SATAY STICKS
Served with a spicy dipping sauce.
A highly popular and moreish appetiser perfect with pre dinner drinks.
THAI BEEF SALAD
Vibrant Asian flavours combine to make an exotic, colourful and zesty starter to whet your appetite. A real taste sensation.
BEEF CARPACCIO
Wafer thin slices of almost raw beef topped with a handful of parmesan shavings and served on a bed of lightly dressed rocket leaves.
PAN FRIED STEAK
Served here with two accompanying sauces; a classic creamy green peppercorn sauce and my easy foolproof bernaise sauce.

COOKING DEMO INFORMATION
As usual the demo class will be held here in my Tetbury kitchen where you will sit on comfy stools and watch while I work. There will be plenty of tastings throughout and you will leave with a print out of all the recipes shown.
