Getting Started

This was the first year I’d demonstrated at the Tetbury Food Festival. It was great fun, though turn out could have been better. Not that I’m blame anyone who was still in bed at 11.00am on a Sunday morning. I know I would be under normal circumstances!

jams-food-festivalAfter my cooking demonstration of how to make Creamy Coconut Vegetable Curry – authentically aromatic and loved by all who try it, (including meat eaters!) we disappeared into the Market Hall where my kids spend the rest of the morning promoting all the preserves and jams I’d made.

Business was brisk. With only four jars remaining out of fifty pots we took ourselves (and our takings) off to Calcots Gumstool Inn for a slap up Sunday Lunch.

Wonderful blog! We met at the Tetbury festival and bought some of your marvellous jams. The sage and apple in particular is sensational and I love the damson one too.
